I have decided to accept the voted target's request to end the day phase.

Wishing to test whether Submachine could rise from the ashes as he claimed, the town gathered around him and quickly led him off to death.

It was not true!

The wrath of the not-actually-dead SpikeSpeigel (thanks Root for pointing out the mistake after I corrected it ) shot through the night, and found its next victim.  A lonely Crusader, with no weapon to endow, met his demise.

Agreed. Was waiting on a rule clarification from TheElk before saying anything. But Crockett wrote a pretty lengthy PM to both myself and another player (Not sure still if I'm allowed to state who) trying to lead us away from voting on submachine for various reasons, and in general acting pretty scummy. It sounds like a shallow attempt of the mafia to keep themselves alive, and I don't like it.
