Because if two people end on the same vote total, we don't learn anything - we can't tell if the voting powers were affected or if the lynch was RNG.  If 2 people end up different by a vote or two, we have the potential to gain information.

And honestly, who's going to manipulate votes day one?

I believe the rule in a tie is not RNG, the first person to reach the highest vote total is lynched.

I'm just a bit bothered with the rules. They were drastically changed after the first round started. More specifically, the Stone Skin ability went from being "Cannot be killed during night phases." to being "The next kill received during a night phase is avoided."

That's a major change, and it was made after people already started voting.

I would like to have already come up with a strategy for the civilians, but only now do I even know what the rules are.

And I don't see how randomly voting on someone would help.

I also need to know if there are any vanilla civilians, or if there are multiple copies of some of the 12 civilian roles. This question has still not been answered.

SS was nerfed so that, instead of it not being killed at all, it cannot be killed during night phases (Night kills for example).

And yes, all 12 power roles were handed out. Because 12+4 =/= 21

I think that implies no duplicates, which means 5 VTs? Just what I assumed when it started
