Since I'm new, someone tell me when did Root become the boss here. And why is he the first one to start a mass roleclaim when he was the one mostly against it?

I was against rules that would inevitably result in a mass roleclaim being the only viable strategy.

Ideally, the rules would be set up so that a mass role claim does not really do anything.

As this was not the case, obviously I'm going to do everything I can for the civs to win.

Root's not the boss. You can choose to follow or not to follow him and do as he says or not. But hes thought of viable ways to mass role claim in the last 2 mafias so early most civilians dont even die. Thus people choose to follow him if they're civilian, and not following him (probably in the mafias best interest actually looking at past mafia's, gotta try something new or its gonna be the same thing -probably-) A mafia will never say there mafia because they're the minority, so they try to act as a civilian which means during the day phases, they essentially have to go with roots plan. The mafia are following him because the majority of the civlians are, then the rest dont even matter if they follow or not, but will slow down a win for the civilians by getting caught in the cross hairs at a day lynch. Thus, because we already have so many followers out of own free will because we've seen what root can do, if your mafia or civlian wouldnt matter anymore if you decided to go with root or not. Mass role claiming is a huge power that decides the game as long as it doesnt happen to late. Thats what all the discussion was to stop before the game started.

I'm not trying to say your mafia, or your stupid, and I already saw you posted "not fire," I just wanted to make sure you understood everything as its your first time. Have a good day!

This is everyone except Legit and 1world24. 90% of the players have said they are not Fire.

If andretimpa had been mafia, there would have been a 90% chance he would have been counterclaimed by now. Yet this has not happened.

Furthermore, it would be a suicidal strategy for a mafia member to claim to be Fire because the real Fire could easily prove him wrong.

While we cannot be 100% sure that andreatimpa is a civilian, I'd say it's about 98% or so. Anyways, you know the drill.

Everyone send your role andretimpa.

Once everyone sends their role, andretimpa can compile the info to determine who is a confirmed civilian. Because what's most likely is that we'll have around 7-9 people claim to be vanillas, while 0-2 of the 12 roles will be claimed multiple times. Thus, for the remaining civilian roles that have only been claimed once, we will know those players are civilians. We can then establish a network of confirmed civilians, and that's pretty much a huge advantage.

Note that it is in the best interest of all the survivors to be honest about their role.

If you are a confirmed survivor and wish to work with the civilians, we can assure you protection from being lynched.

At best, he's an inactive civilian. At worst, mafia. A much better target to lynch than someone who has already made a role claim. Of course, if he does make a role claim, then we'll just have andre tell us to target someone who has not yet messaged him.
