RootRanger: maybe you're right about the Oracle. I must admit, there may be logical errors in my post because I'm in a hurry now.

But I must agree: noone should do anything stupid until we figure out a viable strategy. (And no, my ideas alone DON'T count viable!!!)

I would ask of the cleared person by the cop to claim, but I just realised a fatal flaw, if the Sane cop gets a Guilty report, and no one claims, mafia's fakeclaim could turn out 'Uncounterclaimed'.

As of now, as WIFOMish as it seems, ian could more likely be mafia.

I mean, sure, mafia could have used it on you to pin suspicion on you. In any case, might change it tomorrow.

So, as a newb who understands very little:
Voting Power gives you more votes each day?
Voting Total makes more (Imaginary) people vote to lynch you each day?

Well, surely, SoW would only be a "Pin the blame on you" kind of move, right?
...Or am I just being stupid (Again?)

Voting Power means your vote counts as multiple people. Voting Total means you have imaginary people voting on you.

Let's say Player A has a voting power of 3 and a normal voting total of 0. Player B has a normal voting power of 1 and a voting total of 3. They vote on each other.

The vote display doesn't include Voting Power and Voting Total, so it would read:

Player A (1) - Player B
Player B (1) - Player A

Normally, this means one would randomly be lynched. But the host would see it as:

Player A (1) - Player B
Player B (6) - Player A, Player A, Player A, Imaginary Guy, Imaginary Guy, Imaginary Guy

Now, SoW means they're much easier to lynch but impossible to nightkill. This would generally be used on a civilian to skew the votes. However, mafia knows this and can use it one of their own to help them fake being a civilian.

Sure, you might say that a scum would wait till the end of the day and vote, but sky showed me that WIFOM thing, so I changed my way of thinking. Anyway, I may not have the power to lynch you alone, but maybe others will help me.

Well, I guess that boils down to what your definition of 'doing anything stupid' is. For me that basically means don't claim/reveal to the thread (and the mafia) who the important roles are. Imo since votes are switchable around till the end of the day I don't think what I've done would be classified as stupid. But it's still early I guess. Revealing clears is tough this time ><
