Funny, I guess the person that PMed me claiming to be the seer and that they IDed me isn't actually the seer. I won't reveal their identity, of course, but they might. I doubt that though, no sense in revealing oneself to the FG's if you're the seer (except for what hobnob is doing, that's the only logical case). Like I said though, the actual seer (I believe them to be the seer anyway) IDed me, so I know hobnob must be lying about being the seer. Besides, I've had a special role the past two games, do yall really think I'd be lucky enough to get it a third time?
Yall are probably wondering why hobnob would claim to be the seer and have discovered an FG if he really isn't the seer. Either:
1. He's an FG and will use this lie to get rid of me through lynching the first day and kill another experienced player that night. That will out him as an FG, but it may be a good trade-off to get rid of two strong players.
2. He's an innocent and was PMed by an FG claiming to be the seer. That FG said he IDed me as an FG and would like hobnob to pretend to be the seer to get everyone to vote for me. Then, when I'm lynched and it's discovered I'm not an FG, the FG's either kill hobnob to keep him quiet (so he can't say, "hey, so-and-so claimed to be the real seer and told me he discovered Dema was an FG") to keep their identity hidden, or they could let him live through the first night and just let everyone lynch him the second day. Killing him would be smarter though. The FG's have a 1/5 chance of picking a person that isn't the seer or the person they looked at on the first day, so this strategy is a good one.
The latter of those two scenarios is better... So, do yall want to lose two strong players the first round, or lynch a liar? Your choice.
