I am vastly disappointed at what has happened within 48 hours. I mean, seriously?

You know, I know my mafia games are generally 'meh' compared to the crazy and awesome themes that people have come up with (from RootRanger's fabulous Death Note to ji412jo's eccentric House M.D.), and that people can get a little bored with the typical Elemental creature stuff. That's fine. I expect some people not to play at all because of time constraints, other errands to attend to, or simply because of the fact that the rules/roles/theme/my games suck and are terribad ideas aren't their thing. That's also fine. No problemo.

You know what's NOT fine? People devolving into insults (passive-aggressive or otherwise) or continue such dramas by posting even after they have supposedly "quit the game". People not following simple rules, such as 'not editing your posts' despite obvious warnings. People bringing such drama into other topics or in chat, which is COMPLETELY absurd because I have no power over those areas, and no one needs to see that crap permeating our world.

I really, REALLY, don't like modding - there's a reason why I said 'no' to being a global mod long ago when ScaredGirl originally offered - and for this topic to have spiraled (once again) into this ridiculousness when I thought I quashed it yesterday is disrespectful to not only to me, but the other players who are currently participating, as well as people who are not even playing/no longer part of the game whatsoever.

To prevent further incidents such as this from happening, I will be working with our next mafia host (as well as other people, if necessary) to create a better set of rules and regulations. Thank you again for reading, and I sincerely apologize for ranting out my frustrations with this.

While Crockett's list of people is in no way conclusive or sure in any way, it is at least something. Russian was not listed as civilian int his list, so I will go with that, if only because I have nothing else to base my theories on.

Self voting is generally a more mafia behavior than town behavior, and with the thread focusing more on role interactions and player drama than on scumhunting, it's the best I have to go on.

So I am mafia because I was not on a list of "confirmed" civilians that he compiled with less than one round of "data"? Seems legit.  Also, he said he only contacted 2-3 people.

Not at all. I do not know if you are mafia, and I do not really believe Crockett's list to be fully correct. But with 2 people already voting on you and the fact that I have to vote for *something*, that list is in my opinion better than a complete random voting, because based on the replies from some different people, I do know that the list do have some correct roles.

looking at day 1 though, why did dm vote me? if it was random, there were better choices. dm is too good a player to be mindlessly following ian. if ian is mafia, i am mostly sure dm is too.

dm also didnt properly answer the RQS. maybe trying to avoid 1 question? the mafia/civvy question? it would be awkward to answer if he is mafia. as well as a couple other questions.
