@mod: is communication outside of the game thread permitted?  The sound of several of these posts suggests that players desire to communicate by chat/PM, but in my Mafia experience (on other sites), communicating outside the game thread has always been forbidden.

Answering questions:

Also, who dies if two people have the same number of votes?

Any skills (passive or otherwise) which affect voting powers/total are calculated to figure out the final vote. IF the votes are the same following this (either because the skills didn't affect the people tying in vote total, or because the skills managed to make certain players' voting totals equivalent), the person who was voted on first since the day started will be lynched.

Then, any skills which prevent/cause/refer to death (Sweet Mochi, Guardian Angel, etc.) are noticed.

I see. But yeah, best to have an updated tally.

Theoretically, the mafia members HAVE to work together by messaging each other through whatever chat rooms and personal messages to coordinate their attacks; thus, I cannot prevent other civilian/other players from doing the same thing.

So, you may talk to others about this game in other places...

Question 2 for Kuro: Leaf Dragon (Passive): Your voting power increases by 1 whenever someone changes their vote; you also learn the element of the last player that voted each day. [1/3] Does this mean that the leaf dragon could change it's own vote a number of times to obtain any amount of voting power it wants in a round?

Absolutely not. Leaf Dragon's skill ONLY benefits from other player's changing their vote; thus, if a Leaf Dragon player attempts to increase their voting power by spamming the thread with different players' names in the first hour of a day, it's not going to do jack.
