Elite Skeleton (3U): Name a player; if they are lynched or devoured, they are automatically saved, but they lose their original skill and become a Skeleton (0U) for the rest of the game. You may choose to use all three uses of this ability in one go. [2/2]

Does this become a permanent quality of someone or just for the day/night it is used?

Permanent quality; note that while this gives them a chance to still vote like a normal civilian, they are also at a higher risk of being killed off again, as Skeletons are fodder for the Otyugh's Devour...

Is this ability bad by any chance? If you see problems with it, feel free to voice your concern; I've already adjusted some abilities based on their original OP/UP stats.

EDIT: Minor update to Mind Flayer btw to keep it distinct from Warden.

Okay, so I didn't realize you were going to be posting rules late. :P I thought you just weren't gonna post any rules because we've done mafia in the past. So please excuse what I said earlier. :P  :-\ :'( :-X

Spoiler for My past experiences with irl mafia:
I've played mafia (not online) in the past before, and their was a group of people called the mafia, who'd kill each "night," special people that are either doctors or investigators, and civilians. A doctor would choose to save someone, and could save himself, during the night, and if that player was chosen to be killed he'd survive instead, this would be known to all players. A detective or investigator would wake after the mafia and the doctor to choose someone they think is in the mafia. If they were in the mafia, they would die.

These people and the civilians (aka everyone) would wake up during the day phase and nominate people they want to kill. Then we'd have a vote based on the nominations and the person most voted for would die.

The HP stat is the number of votes required to kill you correct? Your voting power is the number of votes you can cast, while your attack power is your starting number of votes you can cast that can increase as the game goes on depending on your ability? If all this is correct, then how does phase salvager work? Does it just act like it's 1 hp? Or is it if a single mafia chooses to kill him he automatically dies and thus the remaining mafia chooses someone else to kill as well? (Or does the mafia that chose the phase salvager salvage his vote back and is allowed to vote again?)

In regards to "STATS", all players will have an initial ATK/HP dependent on their creature selected. This ATK/HP amount has no effect on the votes or how you die (0 HP doesn't mean you are auto-killed), but it does cause certain abilities to work (or fail!). No, the HP stat is not the number of votes required to kill one person. The HP stat will probably only relate to the special ability of our Mafia member Otyugh that has Devour.
Your voting power isn't the number of votes you can cast, but rather the weight of your vote. So if you have a voting power of 2 and vote on a person, it's the same as if two people had voted on him. In a way, you could say that yes, it counts as multiple votes, but they can't be distributed among different people.
Attack value has nothing to do with voting.
Everything else is wrong. 0 HP behaves like 0 HP.

I can understand CrockettRocket's confusion, as there is only one ability in the entire game that has to do with attack (and unlike HP, it isn't a major theme of this mafia). So the stats are a little confusing.

Question 2 for Kuro: Leaf Dragon (Passive): Your voting power increases by 1 whenever someone changes their vote; you also learn the element of the last player that voted each day. [1/3] Does this mean that the leaf dragon could change it's own vote a number of times to obtain any amount of voting power it wants in a round?

Suggested nerf for Leaf Dragon:
Your voting power increases by 1 per person who has changed their vote in the current round; you also learn the element of the last player that voted each day.
It just seems like Leaf Dragon voting power could get out hand even if his own vote didn't count.

Also, a general mafia question:
If there is a tie between two or more people for most votes, what is your policy on who gets lynched?

To prevent as much confusion as possible, STATS are implemented to make the following abilities useful:

THE KING, Otyugh
Phase Salvager
Chrysaora
Maxwell's Demon
Purple Nymph
Graviton Firemaster*

Note that 0 HP does not mean auto-death; otherwise, Phase Salvager is useless. Maxwell's Demon basically has an ability to kill any creature with high ATK, and if combined with Chrysaora's ability, may allow the civy to kill the Otyugh with their 'Paradox' skill (if the Otyugh is 'poisoned', it can't gain any additional HP with devours). Likewise, Phase Salvager can learn the stats of an individual to figure out what role they are, granted, it's far more difficult, but certainly somewhat interesting.

And to reiterate: ATK and HP have no effect on voting whatsoever. It's just to make sure the above skills have some sort of 'flavor'. For example, if you have the Pharaoh role and the Otyugh mafia member tries to 'Devour' you the first night, the Devour skill fails (5 HP vs 9 HP), and you survive! :) Likewise, the Purple Nymph in the game inverts ATK stats, so if a Phase Salvager player sees someone with negative ATK, they can automatically assume they were hit by the Purple Nymph skill.



EDIT: Leaf Dragon, Sapphire Charger -> Graviton Firemaster, and Massive Dragon skills have been edited/'swapped' for extra clarity/balance by the way.
