The clock struck midnight. The two of them had agreed to meet at an old, abandoned brick building. They were both dressed in black clothes and could barely see each other in the dim light available.
"I demand you stop what you are doing." The taller one spoke in a solemn, cold voice. "You have no right to take matters into your own hands like this. If you do not put an end to end such disgusting behavior, I will kill you." The words were grave and completely serious.
"You..." the other said. "Think you can stop me?" He let out a deranged laugh as he walked away, secretly writing in his Death Note.
"I will not hesitate to kill you, Light Yagami," the taller one responded. Light froze, completely petrified in shock.
"How do you know my name?" Light yelled.
"Because I am the true god of this world," the shadowed figure responded. She removed her dark hat and scarf, revealing herself to be the Shinigami Rem. "Now tell me, Light. Do you still wish to wreck havoc upon the human the world?" Light took a long pause. At last, he responded.
"Yes." Light had made preparations for an encounter with a Shinigami. Unbeknownst to Rem, there was a third person in the building: just a typical young girl who happened to be of use to Light. It was impossible for Light to find a police officer, or even an outspoken opponent of Kira, so he had to settle to a regular civilian. She was strapped to the ground, having passed out hours ago. For added precaution, she was handcuffed and gagged. Light had not chosen to write Rem's name in the Death Note, for she could not be killed that way. Instead, he had the young girl die, in a very specific way.
The building began to crumble, collapsing upon itself. The walls broke into smaller fragments that fell towards the ground. A large piece of the wall landed on the young girl, killing her instantly. The walls continued to crumble, crashing into the ground. The floor was covered with bricks, an entire meter of small fragments of the wall stacked on top of each other. Although the wall fell into the ground around him, not a single brick touched Light.
Rem, however, did not have the same fate. The walls fell on top of her, forcefully pushing her deep into the ground. What would have normally killed a human easily had little effect on Rem. But the walls continued to cave in, and fragments of the building piled up on top of Rem and around her. She sunk deep into the ground, powerless against the immense force pressing against her. No matter how hard she tried, she was unable to move any of the bricks away from her.
Light laughed deliriously. "The Death Note never fails," he exclaimed. Rem, otherwise known as Calindu, was never heard from again.
Quick and skillful, the Bomber knew exactly how to eliminate whoever needed to die. It was a simple matter of infiltration. The target had locked his door, but the lock was easily broken. As expected, there was no alarm system. Not like it mattered. A skilled professional could disable one with ease. There was no chance that the target would be home; he had been watched very carefully over the past few days. The Bomber then planted a bomb in the target's house along with a video camera. Both were hidden carefully, unable to be seen by the target. At least, not until it was too late for him.
A few days passed. At last, the target was alone in his house. The Bomber simply pressed a few buttons on a controller that sat by his laptop, and the bomb exploded. Even though the video camera was instantly destroyed, there was no doubt that the bomb was powerful enough to kill Legit.
Murder is just too easy... the Bomber thought.
