Yeah, honestly this whole "Yay I won but I actually lost because of an arbitrary and pointless split in the civilians, but still, yay for everyone else!" kinda sucks. Like I don't really want to complain, because winning and losing is ultimately meaningless, especially in this situation where I still consider it a win for myself. But it's like... If people actually paid attention to who is a fanatic and who is heretic and played accordingly, it'd be interesting. But no one does, because it's impossible to not solely focus on killing tyrants.

Idk. It's just a pointless extra rule that isn't actually fun, and just makes more people lose.

I would have definitely tried to manipulate the F/H ratio if I was in a position of power (and not a slayer).

It just so happened that we were rallied under a flag that decided to remove it from our objectives (not to mention both were fanatics) and put us back in the original us vs them civ/mafia mentality.

I can only speak for myself for this.

Feedback:

Some role balancing, maybe. Complete killing of death posts for future mafias since people can't seem to completely not influence from the dead.

Maybe if the roles had some tinges of differences depending on the primary role of the person you used it on (F/H get one, and slayer/tyrant get a random'd one) that couldn't be used to sniff out primaries. Idk, something to make the civilian divide more evident.

Also no more roles in any future mafia that screw up death posts (Rainbow). Stuff like that is just plain confusing.

I actually claimed Heretic when I sent my PM to our confirmed civilians. I misread one the rules as stating that it was illegal to claim Slayer (instead of Tyrant) and then didn't correct it so that I could counterclaim near the end if necessary.
In the first couple of days I thought that my ability was useless because there were so many votes anyway and nobody who was strongly suspected of being a Tyrant would avoid being lynched by a single vote (I understood Scorpio ability as including any extra votes from abilities), but it broke a tie on Day 11 to lynch Jaymanfu.

Woo! Go Mathman, fanatics unite!  In all reality though, I really didn't think about F vs. H at all, was just dumb luck that I ended up being on the winning side.  Good game though guys
