The last seven.

Many had fallen throughout the days, whether by accusation, or by Rainbow's servants. A few had left the cities for an indefinite time. But as the sun hit its peak and the rope deftly squeezing the last bit of life of their last victim, a dull roar had come from the distance...

And color was restored to the world like never before.

The last remaining acolytes had managed to survive; the False Gods that championed them were more than ecstatic (although some were irritated that other Gods had decided to bestow them different powers while they were busy battling the armies directly). As a final blessing, the False Gods (before retreating to the ends of the realm) had purified Rainbow's powers into different shards for each of them to use, and commanded the city to rebuild itself in their absence. As the Gods left, the acolytes had feasted and partied for an equal amount of time they took to remove the Tyrants...

...but as they soon realized,  Salphan and Kohmegap was in need of leadership.

Outnumbering the lone Heretic, the Fanatics had decided to build a new council based on serving the Gods for their sacrifices - some of them were so badly wounded that they were barely recognized as a normal elemental being. Their bodies were indistinguishable from the source that gave them life. And as such, a new era of service had come into play, and from then on out, only Fanatics would be the ones who were recognized for their deeds in the war against Rainbow.

The acolytes had won.

Because there are 2 Fanatics and 1 Heretic remaining, all Fanatics (currently alive or dead) are the ones who take the medal. Congratulations to the Fanatics!
