The mafia know who each other are and discuss amongst themselves, through PMs or a secret (external) chat page who they should kill. They killed bogtro last night.

I'm undecided as to whether or not we should go for Root, my vote for him was mostly a keep-OTL-alive vote, and I don't have any extra information at the moment.

While in most circumstances I would agree with you, blarp posted during the night phase, deleted his post, asked mesa if it was OK to post in the night phase, and then when mesa said it wasn't OK he reposted again during the night phase.  While he may or may not be a mafia member, he is most certainly a true newb.

Why vote for someone who you think is doomed to die tonight? That would be a waste of a lynch, which would give the mafia a chance at thinning our numbers further.

Whoever bogtro's partner is, it might be a good idea for you not to claim unless you're being voted on. If the mafia don't know who you are there's every chance in the world they'll waste a nightkill on you.
