I disagree.  Discussion is essential for the Town/Tourists, and voting encourages that.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for voting (and lynching), but not based on nothing. Because that's a loss for town and doesn't encourage discussion.

Cheesy has a great point, and mort, yours isn't as great.  When you lynch based on nothing, you do get discussion going, such as dd giving input.  We NEED discussion.  However, with 2 people going down per lynch, essentially, we may have a bit of a problem.

Also, those are extremely high odds.  I'm going back to my original vote in that case. I don't like Oni  Also, do mafia elements correspond to any player, or to other mafia?

EDIT: Giving out our elements seems like an extremely, extremely bad idea.  Because of this, I find OTL suspicious.  If you think about it, if mafia share elements with us, they can just avoid lynching who would kill themselves, plus they can very easily take out two birds with one stone.   DO NOT give out your element, and I'm switching my vote to OTL.  Oni, your saved for a round :p

One does not simply give out their element without getting my vote.

FTR: There is only one time when you can post your element on the topic, and that is when your partner is dead. In that case we are given the possibility to lynch you to prevent extra deaths (This gives some credence to the posting your elements idea, but we can do this without giving up elements at the start).

Well, that was fast

Lax brings up some points, but really, the mafia can go without the element info. They know their elements, so they'll know which elements are double-town. All this may do for mafia is to allow them to specifically go after a second person while specifically going for one. Id say that 1 maf member for that info (since that info is not particularly important to mafia) is a good deal for town, but I may be mistaken.

I can see that lax is thinking though, so my gut says he's town

Oni on the other hand just jumped at my throat without real reasoning, so I'm suspecting maf looking for quick lynch. I'll vote oni (someone help me change my vote?)
