If you wanted to get out of the dark, you should have opened your own way out from the start(like i did).
I talked to the right people, i kept my mind open, i made my moves and bidded carefully my every resource(my knowledge of groups mechanic helped).
I got to the point where i looked the monster of incoming lynching in the face and told him ''wtf do you think you are doing?''. 
And more important, when i needed to be right, my gut did not dissappoint me. So here i stand, and i wasnt confirmed yet .
