Actually, can I make a suggestion?  Seeing as we have so many people here, we might need more secondary abilities:

Traitor:  When you are killed, you look like you are on the other team.  Your secondary ability says "village idiot".

So if I were a false god with traitor, when I was lynched, Implosion would say I was a civilian with village idiot.  If I were a civilian, it would say I was a false god.

It makes for a more confusing/interesting game, AND it means if you have village idiot you can do some real damage.  A false god with the secondary ability "village idiot" seems like a civilian.

Just a thought.

In mafia 8, there were a lot of ideas for new secondary roles. They were all eventually scrapped in favor of adding in more copies of existing secondaries in response to some people who wanted to abolish secondary roles altogether. There is now mafia classic for this, so I suppose new secondaries are a possibility.

I like the idea of misinformation... it makes everything more fun for me . So whoever wants to suggest secondary roles, feel free. Also, please say whether you'd rather have more secondary roles or if you'd rather duplicate existing ones.

I'll look at this again tomorrow. Now that it's midnight it's time for me to write the paper that I have due tomorrow and go to bed.

Well, it was just annoying last game because only some abilities had redundancies.  As long as it's an even number, it should be okay.

I probably would have attacked you soon, based on you saying you were the seer. I at least would have interrogated you at the earliest opportunity

Also - I'd like to give my definition of fgs "ousting each other" as per the new rule:

You ARE ousting each other if you:
*-Tell any living person any information regarding the identity of fake gods - last game ended due to a scenario like this.
-Tell any living person any information regarding the plans of fake gods
-Give hints to anyone about anything regarding the fake gods
-Release, even if subtly, any information that is only known to fake gods that they would not want released
-Claim to be a fake god

You are NOT ousting each other if you:
-Vote for each other
-Start a movement to vote each other out
*-Accuse each other of being fake gods

*There is a difference: in the first case, you are telling an individual or group of individuals, or even the entire thread, the identity of one or more fake gods in a way that cannot possibly be a lie. In the second case, you are only accusing each other of being fake gods.

Examples of NOT acceptable: "The remaining fake gods are me, a, and b." "As a dead fg, my partners were a and b - I want this over with" "fgs will be killing a tonight" "ZOMG IMA FG LYNCH ME" - the last one, no innocent has any reason to say (except possibly the ghost, but please don't mr ghost )

Example of acceptable: "I think a is a fg, he's really suspicious (when a and the speaker are both fgs)" etc.

Also, Svenningen had an interesting strategy last game of sending false information to living persons. I *could* allow this... but then I'd feel like crap if someone sends true (or even partially true like Svenn's) info. So please. If you are dead - ESPECIALLY if you are a fake god - be quiet.

Purity_Riot, please confirm these standards are acceptable - I want no confusion on this subject.

I like the idea of some sort of role that causes deception, but I think it should be while that person is still alive, not after they die. Maybe something that fools the seer reveals(and gambler etc.)....
