The time hasn't come yet for me to change the table, but I have a comment. Would it be possible (now that half of the elements have been eliminated) to reset the table with just the six remaining elements at 10 points each? I have a feeling it will take forever, especially when there are only two elements left.

Resetting everything to 10 would be kind of unfair, because I don't think the remaining element scores will ever be equal again. Maybe if they're all above 20 at some point, subtract 10 from everybody?
