OOC: There's a company called 'Healing Hands Massage' should their hands glow?

InC:

Lady Krissaga shakes her head, lifting her staff, "No one is going after the man who ran into the forest?" she asks, whistling for Whisperfoot as they dash toward the forest.

Ok without further ado (sorry had to clean out my fridge....my leftovers from a few months ago started to fight me over the last beer).......

You awake to an overcast day of mild temperature.  Everyone quickly closes camp as the excitement of adventure calls them.  As the group cautiously approches the mouth of the cave you notice a figure running off into the woods.  Its close enough to see that it look similar in build to the creatures you fought on the path, but far enough that giving chase would be a waisted effort.  The group turns back to look at the entrance of the cave and the excitement builds.....

Maze breaks the silence and utters a phrase that suddenly brings everyone back down to earth....."Did anyone think to bring a torch?"

Its impossibly far ahead of you, it dissapears into the woods leaving no trace of its direction.

OOC: Track feat, and really high survival skill. Unless he's a druid, I can find him.

It was litteraly on the fringe of your vision....you can give chase if you want.....but due to its head start, and its willingness not to be followed it will probably take several hours to track down the one creature.

OOC: Thankfully, that's decided by dice :P This is what my character is designed around. She's a Wild Hunt Judge.

Lady Krissaga and Whisperfoot chase after him.

Okey dokey....

After several hours of chasing the creature you find him running full stride away from the cave as if it was afraid of something.....so afraid in fact that it will not even defend itself.....all it wants to do is continue running in a direction other than the cave.

OOC: Not everyone has to follow me. In fact, I'd prefer if none of you did for the sake of the story, and more importantly because my character is independent. Also, as if it took me that long. I move through the forest at a run, while they will have to walk. I'm traveling four times as fast as him.

Assuming it somehow did take that long :P

InC:

"Whisperfoot, subdue!" Lady Krissaga shouts, throwing her staff ahead of the humanoid, trying to trip him by having him run into it.

"Awesome....well that solves the first problem.  Now do we wait for her, or should we start to explore?"  Maze asked with the hope of action in the near future.

"Cave ho!" says Geoff, striding into the cave and looking around.

Geoff searches for traps, loot, and hidden doors.
