Geoff fiddled with the short sword.  It was clumsy, he didn't like it.  Something about it just didn't seem... he couldn't explain it.  It was almost as if he couldn't focus on the blade.

It didn't matter, it was probably worth something.

Lady Krissaga puts the meat she's garnered into an old, warn burlap sack, then puts it into her pocket, stepping daintily over the dead bodies and heading onward. She whistles over her shoulder, and Whisperfoot stops eating one of the corpses and chases after her.

Maze steps over the uncarved corpse and gives it a swift kick in the jaw on his way over it.  If there was anything he hated more than things he didn't understand, it was things he didn't understand trying to kill him.  He then hurried to catch up with Lady Krasaga.

For a side project please pm Purity your favourite weapon, and what kind of armour you like to wear, as well as a little bit about what you want from their armour and their character.

OOC: sure if you want to look silly. A straight edge and a severe curve? I think you should save up 4075 gold and buy Matched Quicksilver masterwork laminated steel serrated edge Fencing Sabers in quick sheathes

As that would give you two weapons at 1d6+2 damage with a 14-20/x2 critical hit range, and only a -1 to hit and a +2 to initiative.

...so ya. I may or may not have a whole day to myself, and may or may not having nothing to do, so I may or may not have gone through all my gear books and designed perfect weapons for you... and may or may not be willing to do this for everyone's weapon(s) and armour....

Edit: Then you just need to save up and get them a +5 magical enhancement bonus to make them vorpal and take Improved critical. Since that would make them an 8-20/x2 critical hit range, and on a successful critical, you'd kill in one hit... just saying.
That is not true. The Vorpal ability says that you must roll a natural 20 (followed by a successful confirmed critical) to automatically kill. If you don't believe me, look on page 226 in the DMG.

Yeah, but I'm gonna get 8 attacks at high level, so a 20 wouldn't be that difficult.

Eh, the writing to me seems to make it sound like a critical would be good enough. My DMs have always made it any critical. I'd say that would be up to Bender.

Are you serious?! An automatic kill threat by rolling higher than a 7? That's ridiculously OP. I doubt Bender would allow it.

It's not an automatic kill. He has to hit, he has to confirm the crit, and on top of that, he's looking at 76,075 gold to make this weapon.

I never said it was an automatic kill. Anyways, we can argue all we want, but Bender will be making the decision.

OOC: What time is it in our campaign?
