Yea, I really want to play Smidget, the Drow-Hafling thief/assassin.  His backstory is he works for "the museum" which collects rare weapons and sells forgeries.  As a constant side quest, Smidget has to attempt to steal all rare weapons he sees, and if he deems it lethal to try, he'll instead use a "shadow blade" to copy it.

Point is, it's a fun character with lots of killing and stealing, and lawful evil is just great.  Last game I played with him I got "leather shadow" which made my charisma 20 and gave me unlimited shadow walk.  Needless to say, things got pretty broken.

Don't get to crazy on races...they are the only thing i'm limiting....pretty much plan on +2 to one stat and -2 to another of your choice (plus high stats to start with) ....the world is new and there are not many races yet (bad enough i had to make a pantheon and the creation of the world....i didn't want to write a history so my solution was to have the first age be the history.  You all will be the ledgends of future ages  )

Man, I wish mage wasn't taken either.  My 3.5 sorcerer is pretty badass too.  Crazy religious dragon worshipper.... lawful good to almost a paladin degree, pretty much hilarious to play.  Aw well, I do need to come up with more effective backstories than just two, maybe I'll make a barbarian with a fun backstory.  Chaotic Neutral?

But if you take the dragonwrought feat, you don't take the aging penalties for STR, CON, and DEX because your type is dragon. Therefore, I can just be a really old kobold and get +3 to the mental stats.
