Actually, that raises the question why dd is on the list at all. There should be only people who want to play. We are voting for who to send, not for the one to choose who to send.

It is not dd's choice who we send in his place, it is the community's choice. There is currently a single vote difference with a minimum of six shared votes between me and Demagog, so it is impossible to determine who that is without another vote. However, since we don't have enough time before the deadline, we will officially be sending Demagog as our representative and myself as the alternate. I am only talking about what should be done after that.

Because I asked to be on the list, because I would love to play. That being said, I have zero issue giving it up to someone else who also wants it, has the community's support, and is more experienced than me, hence why I did so. I don't understand why this decision has been controversial at all.

Actually, when the poll was supposed to end, when Kuro announced me as the nominee, I'm certain had 18 votes, Dema has 16, and you had 14. sky and Espi both had 1, not sure about the other two. I'm unsure why the votes are still changing.
