For those that weren't aware: ddevans was precog and targeted me in round 2. He targeted Kuro in round 3, then contacted us both at the same time. He died right after that and I was converted at the same time. I got Kuro to believe that I was heal, as if he had thought I was cloak, I was done for. My guess that dawn to dusk was an FG was just a guess based on his first vote post, and it happened to be right. My plan this game, after the rogue killed dawn, was to be the very last person in the game, but I forgot about the ghost ability so that didn't go quite as planned. I realized Lax could be ghost during the night (IRL) before my death, so I devised the plan to use Annele to contact Fippe/Kuro, claiming that Calindu asked her to vote with him and that he and the other FG would lynch her in return.
Here is my opinion on some of the roles:
- Eternal Phoenix - breaks up all alliances
- Cloak - super OP; can role claim as cloak in round 1 and you have free ride to end game, as you probably won't be lynched, and night kills can't target you without giving away an FG/rogue
- Unstable gas - almost the exact same thing as cloak. Only negative is that chaos lord could shift the explosion to an innocent person.
- Justaburdic - Instant win ability! Claim as this in round 1, always. FG's/rogue will not want to kill you because there is the chance that you can help them in the end game. Civs have to lynch you to prevent this, thereby winning you the game.
- Endow - Pick one of the above abilities (not EP) after they role claim, then use their strategy.
- Hope - If you get in an alliance, you can safely reveal roles without putting anyone in your alliance in danger.
I've been helping UTL balance some abilities and come up with new ones. For instance, Discord will randomize all the targets at night one time. "Lucky" will have RNG favor them at all times. Reverse Time will prevent all deaths, if I remember right. Adrenaline will increase his own vote power to 2 and another person's when he targets them (otherwise his own is 1). Quantum pillar (could use a better name) would get 3 randomized votes (probably would give this guy the "lucky" ability as well).
