There isn't a specific team size, but it looks kind of ridicolous to have 5 players in a team and 1 in another.

I concur. Perhaps randomize the teams, but take preferred element into consideration when doing so if possible?

Or fill them up accordingly, giving priority to those who signed up first, then considering secondary choices.

I would like to make a small suggestion. In the future, if games are going to be played with teams the teammates should alternate turns instead of going whenever they happen to be on.
