Oh well, not able to do everything I'd like to with this post, but meh.

InC:

Masklin awoke with what would have been a start, if he was human. Instead, having to eyes to shoot open in surprise, he merely became aware of his surroundings. Regardless of the fact that there was in fact an extremely large Silurian Dragon poking at his prone body with interest , he remained calm.

It was just one of the many traits that separated him from, for example, corpses.

No, reacting quickly just wasn't Masklin's style. He preferred to bring his bat around slowly, but hit very, very hard.

And, because the creature appeared satisfied he would not put up a fight and was in fact preparing to devour him, he decided that time was now, and sprung upwards in a half-flip unto his hands, from where he did a forward handspring, linking the Dragon's Center with his, and because it was a great deal heavier and therefore had a lot more momentum when he let go, it landed some distance away, with a very heavy and final thud.

After a thud like that, Masklin thought, it shouldn't have gotten up. It had had a very final sound to it, that thud, and he felt the beast was rather ruining the narrative casualty of the whole situation, and really, just mucking up the whole business.

But because ancient and nearly primordial Dragons don't honestly care much about the laws of casualty, it proceeded to get up and charge back at him.

Which was, as it turned out, merely it's second mistake of a day when many more were to come.

Masklin reached forward and closed his fist, pulling the dragon's forward momentum out of it, and storing it up for use. When he quite honestly couldn't hold it any longer, he left it all go, sending himself rocketing at the puzzled creature, and then bringing his fist down in a near-perfect arc on it's head, which promptly hit the ground with a thud.

It sounded like a very final thud.

And, because Masklin was never one to waste resources, he placed his palm on the dead creature and dissolved it into particles, which he then absorbed into his own body for use in just about anything.

That's odd... Haven't seen one of those rifts in a long, long time... Such a long time... There were... Lights. Yes. Lights. That is definite. And the lights closed the rift.

Basically, Masklin was a personification of a force that was created by the human mind to serve it's purpose. Much like Death, War, Jack Frost, and many other such entities. And, when all you had was a job, you needed more, and you started to become... human. They absorbed traits like a sponge, and logic was worst. Logic was dangerous when it was in the hands of something that could walk through walls a level entire cities when it felt that this was logical. in order to get it it's cup of tea, so to speak.

And so, because Masklin had very, very little information to go on, and he knew lights were involved, he naturally gravitated (Yet another skill) towards the place with the most of it, and Pushed himself through the air in that direction.

Unknowingly, and going very, very fast, he was heading towards the Kingdom of Light.

OOC: Yeah... a bit of an odd post, really.

I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

Your last post seemed to be clearly directed at Blood's Jonathan; therefore I thought it most appropriate for him to respond first.

Reserved, though I may have to come back and edit this after a few hours.

Thousands upon thousands of insects of every shape and form gathered in front of Jonathan's eyes, coalescing into a roughly humanoid blob of black and green static. Then, it spoke, garbled words interspersed with constant background buzzing: "We are the Collective. Largest of the sentient, boasting of our victory over the quickones! You are the one who speaks like us.  You are the one with the mind link.  We offer you to join us.  We offer you our service."

That thing wants to offer me service... Jonathan mused. Strange as it may be, the creature did not seem hostile, or at least it was non-belligerent at the moment. Jonathan released his powers, and the crackling sparks of energy in the air slowly faded. What a strange creature, Jonathan thought. It resembled a single entity composed of an entire colony of tiny insects, joined together with a hive mind. In Pangaea, there lived races of giant intelligent Insectoid creatures, some linked by hive minds; but Jonathan had never quite seen anything like this creature before him. But more importantly, how did this being learn of our presence? Jonathan asked himself.

Perhaps the creature heard us through the Multiversal fracture? Jonathan heard the soft, soothing voice of Luna in his mind.

But how is that possible? Jonathan asked. Immediately after its appearance, I sealed it with my spell. How can that creature hear through my seal?

Your seal was meant to block matter, not psychic energy, Saturn answered. Nor did we attempt to keep our mental conversation secret. If this creature possessed exceptional psionic sensitivity, it is entirely possible that it has overheard our conversation through the fracture.

Turning back to the Collective, Jonathan spoke with both his voice and his mind. "If you offer me service, creature, then show me what you know." He opened his mind, and immediately felt the swirling, chaotic, buzzing, multitudinous consciousness of the Collective latch onto his. Connecting to its hive mind, Jonathan received a maelstrom images, sounds, smells, tastes, and feelings that would have probably overwhelmed an ordinary human. From those confused arrays of thoughts, Jonathan knew that this creature was not from the world it was currently in. Just like the Entropic being Zeni, the Collective was most likely spirited away from its homeworld by the Multiversal fracture.

This is worse than I thought, Jonathan thought urgently. If more creatures from other worlds are brought here, the situation can easily get out of control. He considered trying to get these creatures back to their original worlds, but then reconsidered; Zeni and the Collective both offered him their help, and it might be a good idea to alert multiple worlds of the Devourer's existence. For now, he should keep these beings near him, lest they wander off on their own.

Jonathan turned to his three companions: Zeni, the Collective, and the gray-robed Angel. "My name is Sol Invictus, though I preferred to be addressed as Jonathan Solaris when among mortals," he began. "Whether you believe me or not, I am a Deity hailing from another world. You have been transported here against your will," he turned to Zeni and the Collective, "and I know the cause."

"Did you bring us here?" Zeni asked. "Did you make that strange portal?"

"No, the portal was merely a side effect of something far greater," Jonathan answered. "An extremely powerful multidimensional cosmic being has just escaped from its prison. Its name is Annihilus, the Devourer of Worlds, and quite literally it has the power to destroy entire worlds. The destruction of its prison world created a fracture in the fabric of the Multiverse itself, which is why you've been transported here."

"And you are here to stop this 'Devourer', I presume?" The gray Angel asked.

"I am merely here to ask for help," Jonathan said. "It is quite impossible for even a Deity of my power to stop Annihilus. I need to contact the most powerful beings in this world. We must work together, else this world, and most likely all other worlds in the Multiverse, will be consumed by the Devourer." Turning to face the Angel fully, Jonathan fixed him with his piercing golden eyes. "I request that you lead us to your highest-ruling superiors, Angel. As soon as possible, if you do not wish this world of yours to be destroyed."

@Helios: Yes, Jonathan STILL thinks that Ticarael is from Elements. In his own world, Jonathan can tell if someone is not from Pangaea/Galactea, but in Elements he can't.

I finished my post.

I have some ideas for the future plot. If you have better suggestions, please post them.

1. We arrive at Illucius, the Capital of Light, to see it overrun by the forces of Darkness and Death.

2. We try to find Miracle, but instead we meet Incarnate and Morte, who decided to join the battle personally.

3. We fight these two FGs. I'm not sure about the outcome; should we win or lose? We can't kill them though, at least not yet.

4. After the epic fight, we enter Miracle's palace, to see Miracle being corrupted by the already-corrupt Rainbow. This is a part of Annihilus's plan to devour the world of Elements from within.

5. The now-corrupt Miracle and Rainbow beat the crap out of us, and we flee. Incarnate and Morte witness that, and realize that something beyond them is happening. They help us escape.

6. We escape to Umbrios, the Capital of Darkness, and inform the two FGs about Annihilus. Since Jonathan will be in the Kingdom of Darkness under a constant solar eclipse, he'll probably have some struggles with Eclipsis.

That's about all I have in mind for now. Again, better suggestions are always welcome.
