OK, I'm gonna write something now. Reserved.
For about half an hour Jonathan flew, soaring through the soot-filled air. The land of shining Light became closer and closer, and the ground became less and less fiery. Jonathan could feel the Fire elemental energy in the atmosphere gradually lessening; as he crossed the invisible threshold that marked the boundary between Fire and Light, the Fire energies in the air was almost entirely replaced by Light.
Jonathan looked up in the sky, and smiled. In the land of Fire, the sky was obscured by thick clouds of volcanic ash, allowing very little sunlight to shine through. But here in the land of Light, the sky was clear and blue, the Sun shining brightly above and raining pleasant sunbeams down upon the smooth, even ground. Up ahead, Jonathan could see towns and cities of pure white, made of pristine white marble and brilliant white crystals. It was a Kingdom of Light, and it made Jonathan feel much more at home compared to the fiery wasteland he had been in.
Jonathan looked directly at the Sun. His eyes weren't bothered the slightest, since he himself was the, well, Sun God. Jonathan
was the Sun, so looking at the Sun is like looking at a part of himself.
Or maybe not... Jonathan thought.
I'm not the Sun God in this world...But that did spark a memory from the distant past. About a millenia ago, Jonathan did meet another Sun God from a different world. Apollo, his name was, Jonathan remembered.
And their Moon Goddess was the Sun God's sister, he shivered with distaste. As Sun Gods, the two of them drew their power from the same stellar object, thus they were connected in some deep, fundamental way, much like Jonathan's connection with Luna. In this new world, if Jonathan wanted to contact the world's Deities or other ruling forces, his best bet was to contact the Sun God of this world.
Jonathan closed his eyes and sat down, crossing his legs in a meditating position. His body began to glow with a faint sheen of white-gold light, while his consciousness slowly left his body, and then departed from this plane of existence altogether. His mind entered the Spiritual Plane, a realm of spirits, souls, and pure magical energy. The Kingdom of Light appeared as a landscape of gentle, soothing white light, while the Fire Mountains behind him resembled a scorching and writhing mass of flames. Jonathan himself was no longer tethered in his physical form; he was now a shimmering figure of golden light, with a pair of magnificent draconian wings on his back.
With a flick of his wings, Jonathan's spiritual self morphed into a great golden dragon of Light, and flew toward the giant blazing sphere of the Sun above him.

Illucius, the Capital of Light.
The blue-white eyes of the False God were wide. Miracle stared, in utter astonishment, at the Sun Obelisk in front of him. The Elemental Wonder was glowing with brilliant incandescent light, its luminosity unnaturally bright; the golden runes engraved on the pristine white pillar were blazing and humming, something they had never done before since the departure of Zanzarino. To Miracle, it seemed that an alien entity was trying to gain access to the Sun Obelisk. No, scratch that; the alien being had
succeeded in gaining access to the Obelisk. The False God reached out with his mind.
Who are you, and how are you able to access the Sun Obelisk? Miracle asked.
Are you the Sun God of this world? The alien mind in the Obelisk asked back. To Miracle's surprise, it seemed vast and ancient, almost as powerful as the False God himself.
Much as I would like to be, I am no god. Our One True God is Zanzarino, and He left His realm under our care. Now speak; who or what are you? The Kingdom of Light is under siege, and we simply cannot allow unauthorized access to our most sacred and closely guarded relic, as you are doing now.Already? The alien mind gasped.
Were you successful in repelling the forces of the Devourer? Our enemies are the Hell Covenant of Darkness and Death, and I have not heard of this "Devourer" you speak of. Do not waste my time, stranger. Who are you, and what is your business here? The stranger seemed to pause and think for a moment.
My name is Sol Invictus, and I am the Sun God from another world. I am here to warn you; your world is in grave danger. An entity known as-I am perfectly aware of the danger my Kingdom faces. We are under siege by the combined forces of Darkness and Death, though I am sure that the Kingdom of Light does not require assistance from other worlds. No! You do not understand! Annihilus, the Devourer of Worlds, threatens your entire world, not just your kingdom!Again, I have not heard of this "Devourer" you speak of. I assure you, Sol Invictus, that whatever calamity you warn me of has not befallen our world. Not yet, but it will, the being known as Sol Invictus sounded desperate now.
Listen to me! No world is safe. We must work together, else-Abruptly, the stranger's presence was cut off from the Sun Obelisk. The square tower-like structure immediately stopped glowing, and the only light left in the room was the faint sheen emanated by the Orb of Light adorned on the apex of the Obelisk.

Jonathan was now back inside his own body. Had he returned a second later, the head of his physical body would have been cut off. Jonathan faced his two assailants, white energies crackling in his two hands. In front of him was a demon warrior, clad in obsidian armor and carrying a bloodstained greatsword, and a skeleton mage, covered in gray robes and holding a staff of bone. The two monstrosities glared at Jonathan with their baleful eyes, ready to attack.
