Jonathan gazed at the two creatures before him, his eyes calm and impassive. Should he let those two live? They had obviously tried to kill Jonathan, though that might be an act purely in self-defense. "I have no quarrels with you, creatures of Darkness and Death," Jonathan said calmly. "If you would lower your weapons and leave me be, I shall spare your lives."
"Ha!" The Demon barked in contempt. "Spare our lives, my ass! You Angels are all the same, actin' as though you rule the goddamn world! We'll decide if we'll let you live, you self-righteous-"
Suddenly, the Lich raised one skeletal hand to stop its companion. "Do not waste time with an Angel," the undead mage said with its hollow-sounding voice. "He is Light, therefore he is the enemy. Enemies will be terminated on sight." Then, without any warning, the Lich raised its bone staff and fired a bolt of purple virulent energy, straight at Jonathan's face. Swiftly Jonathan dodged to his right, and the bolt soared past his face. Where the deadly energy made contact with the ground, the pristine white granite turned a deathly shade of gray, all Light energies drained and dead.
Jonathan sighed. Why did this always happen? He didn't want to kill, yet he was forced to do so again and again. "You don't know who you're dealing with," he muttered, and sent a blast of piercing, blinding white light toward the Lich. However, the Demon was there in an instant, blocking the attack with his obsidian spiked shield. Jonathan raised an eyebrow; apparently those two were stronger than they looked. A quick sweep with his sixth sense confirmed his suspicions. The two creatures in front of Jonathan were very powerful, too powerful for Jonathan's unarmed mortal human form to handle. He would have to fight them seriously, perhaps with his sword Excalibur.
Jonathan was about to summon his sword, when he sensed another presence close to him. He turned his head around sharply, focusing his eyes on the form of a tall man clad entirely in a light gray hooded cloak. "Greetings, stranger. Perhaps you might appreciate assistance?" The man said.
Jonathan frowned. He could instantly tell that the newcomer is an Angel, and a very powerful one; his essence shone with Light and purity. But why was that Angel clad in a gray cloak? Though less tattered, the Angel's cloak was rather similar, at least in color, to the one worn by the Lich. This was the land of Light, and Jonathan could scarcely imagine why an Angel would want to hide his form in his own domain. Nonetheless, Jonathan knew he should try to befriend the Angel; perhaps the Angel could lead him to the mysterious entity that Jonathan was speaking to a moment ago. "I can handle those two by myself, though I would appreciate it if you assist me and save me some trouble."
And with that, Jonathan slammed his palms together. A bright golden light burst into existence between Jonathan's hands, as the Sun-shaped tattoo on his left palm lit up. He pulled his hands apart; the moment he did so, a shining bar of white-gold light seemed to have been pulled out of Jonathan's left hand. In an instant the light solidified itself, into the shape of an elegant silver longsword decorated with golden runes of Light.
"What, another one?!" The Demon growled. "You're both dead!" The creature let out a feral, bloodthirsty howl, and charged at Jonathan, its bloodstained meat cleaver raised high above its head. Jonathan allowed his lips to curl into an arrogant smile, as he raised his own sword to block the Demon's greatblade. With a single hand Jonathan stopped his opponent's sword that was much larger than his own, and began to push back. The Demon bared its vicious fangs and tightened its grip, trying to overpower Jonathan with brute strength. Before it could succeed, Jonathan opened his left palm, and hurled forth a sphere of white light the size of his head, slamming it straight into the Demon's armor-clad torso. The ball of light exploded, blowing the Demon back more than ten meters. The Demon stood up and left out a ferocious snarl, telling Jonathan that it was more enraged than hurt.
Human form isn't going to be enough for this brute, Jonathan thought. Immediately he spread his Angelic wings, and a bright white aura materialized around his body. He could upgrade his Excalibur too, though it didn't seem all that necessary; his sword in its basic form appeared to be perfectly capable of handling the great meat cleaver carried by the Demon. With a wave of his hand, Jonathan materialized a dozen energy swords made of concentrated Light, each of them pointing at the growling, black-armored Demon.
Jonathan gave a sidelong glance at the gray-clad Angel. "Want to show me what you can do?" He asked casually.
Helios, your character is probably facing the Lich right now. You haven't written an introductory battle, so I don't know how your character fights; I'll leave that to you for now.
BTW, there might be some confusion after the fight. Jonathan will think that Ticarael is an Angel from Elements, while Ticarael will probably think that Jonathan is an Angel from Elements.
