Currently if a person on Chat doesn't have an avatar this appears:



However, it also appears if a member has directly uploaded their avatar (Sr. Member or higher privilege). As in, their avatar isn't displayed in Chat. Avatars are only displayed if they are hosted somewhere else.

Could this be fixed?

just upload it to imgur.com and problem is solved in 2 seconds

Yes, I did that of course, but it's still inconvenient (and many people don't realize it).
