Show unread, new, ACTIVE

The 2 options are fine as is I guess, but how about a third option.

Show unread posts since last visit.
Show new replies to your posts.
Show active topics since last visit.


Instead of scanning the entire forum to check where people are posting, you click, and all threads that have been active since your last visit appear magically.  Allowing you to quickly scan through everything and pick and choose what you want to contribute to/read etc.

Not part of the forum software and to my knowledge there is no plugin for it, therefore probably won't happen.

Besides, wouldn't this just show the first X topics in unread posts since last visit? It seems redundant.

Unread =/= Active
Unread = New

Now since I do not know anything about how this forum was made, I can not say what can and cannot be done here.  But since 3-4 other forums I frequent have this as an option, I know for certain that it is possible to do.

If the unread already does this, then it is just how it is worded that made me never use it, because in actuality, there are more unread posts than what is listed.
