Avatars are nice and all, but how many times have you really seen someone's profile?
As a personal preference, I think avatars should also link to your profile, Ultimate Profile if applicable.
It would make more use of them and be an effective, large target for going straight to a person's profile, as opposed to their name, which can be daunting to even click on.
Idk, just throwing it out there.
