I propose a community project to determine a ranking of the best decks in the history of Elements. Decks would be ranked based on impact to the game, originality, creativity, popularity etc. All types of decks would be considered including FG decks, pvp decks, unupgraded, upgraded, what have you. Kinda like how there is a most exquisite War deck this would be the list of most exquisite decks of all time.
Judges
A group of informed members woudl act as fair and impartial judges for the project. willng3 as the sole remaining Deck Helper would be an obvious choice for Chief Justice (hi will!) but maybe another 4ish members to go along with him.
Nominations
You can either nominate by posting in the thread or by sending a pm to the orgainzers. Just posting a decklist is not enough you must list the reasons why you think the deck belongs on the list. You're allowed to submit up to 20 decks for consideration.
Voting
Judges would take all submissions and weed out the junk. There are a couple ways to do voting. You could have a public vote, a private vote by Masters or maybe even a council vote. You could also have voting by member rank, so like Hero & Legendary members get a poll, and Full & Sr. get another and Jr.'s gets their own poll. The important thing is that it's not just a popularity contest of the latest decks and it's not just up to an elite few to decide.
Results
Judges then take all the posts of opinions and all the votes cast and come up with a definitive list. I think it would be fun to discuss and have some debate on the forums. The Community Recommended decks section is great and all, but I'd like to see something that covers the entire history of the game.
