Sort Notification Threads by New Posts

Whenever I got to my notifications page for threads I'm "watching", they're statically sorted. This means that if a thread gets a new post, it stays where it is in my list instead of moving to the top. With multiple pages of threads I'm watching (set up to auto-notify when I reply w/ no e-mail), this gets tedious. I don't want to click through multiple pages of watched threads to see the new ones.

I don't think that's possible.

Bummer. I know it's possible with other forum software, but I have no clue about forum software by Simple Machines.

One upside to this forum is its anti-ninja posting feature. I love that.

Check the box on the right for the threads and then click unsubscribe.

• Put a check in the boxes on the right of the threads you want to unsubscribe.
• Click on Unsubscribe at the bottom of the page, on the right.

Ah, it's the "u" for user id/number. I missed that for sure.

No need to add his user number in there, though. Looks like it works without the u value:

So no getting rifd of only one or 20 very annoying topics than. Oh well, thx for trying, but I already have my settings for that the best I can get them. Not to say I hadn't forgotten about that page though.

Okay, this may make me seem like an idiot for not saying this earlier. But I'm talking about getting rid of whats on the 'show new replys to your post' because I really don't want to just waste time clicking away. But again, it doesn't really matter.

I'm not really sure what you're talking about at this point. If you want to globally change the notifications settings, it's on the same page we linked to earlier at the top:

• Receive forum announcements and important notifications by email.
• Receive reply notification only for the first unread reply.
• Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic.
• When sending notification of a reply to a topic, send the post in the email (but please don't reply to these emails.)

If you're talking about notifications for individual threads, then it's what I mentioned earlier and what chriskang quoted and mentioned again.

Again, know about this page, but not how to stop getting notifications from specific threads. Oh well, it soesn't bother moi much, and I think its funny someone posted a link to their page.
