Pesonally here, I don't see this as being necessary, and/or particularly wanted.
Even with the option to disable pictures in sigs (if it were possible), then people would be missing out on the signatures picture related text.

I really like them as they are now, and so do other people on this forum. In fact, the only thing I would change is making it 'not reccomended' to post a link to your own deck/thread - unless it is always relevant to everybody (which 90% of them are not)

And: There is the 2 smiley sig limit for a reason. We don't want Yaladae to come make a picture out of his sig.

I think you should make a poll out of this, BTW.

Honestly I don't mind about whether picture  should be allowed or not. But the text should be allowed, I think. And I have one question: May I write the URL of another forum in my avatar/signature? I ask you first because I doubt if it is allowed or not since there's a forum where we aren't allowed to write any URL of another website.

Yeah, I must say that I like this forum where no pictures are allowed, and the text is slightly smaller to avoid distraction. Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of the signatures on here, but anything more would be annoying(I recently joined a forum that seems to have no rules on this, and many signatures take up five times as much space as the avatar and/or post).

yeah you don't actually need pictures. all you need to do is draw a little punctuation animation like mine and many others. it likes just as good and makes you seem just that little bit more awesome ;)

I'd like to thank whoever designed these forums for not letting this happen. Images (even if small) can be really annoying. I can stand some bunnies -or even koalas- here and there, but if possible I'd like to be able to keep the current elegant, grey-ish theme.
