If I had the money, I'd definitely buy some sort of merchandise. I don't do t-shirts with stuff on them for the most part. Plain and simple. But other things, definitely.
Well I guess T-shirts might not be too practical as other things. After I posted my previous post I realized that a lot of people might not be too keen on going around wearing a shirt about some game no one has heard of.
I actually had this same t-shirt idea a couple of weeks back. Not only could people buy them, but we could also give them out as rewards for big tournaments and such. How cool would that be?
There's this website that lets you design all kinds of merchandise, including t-shirts, simply by adding an image. They do all the other stuff like printing, shipping, etc. The whole thing is based on the fact that you get a small commission when your product gets sold.
So lets say I make an account when I insert Zanz's paypal and design a black t-shirt with a big Darkness logo in the middle (and maybe a link to the game). This process will take less than 30 minutes. Then we will wait for one year, during which time the shirt sells 100 copies, and Zanz gets 100-150$ on his paypal account.
So 30 minutes of work, 100-150$ in "donations". Pretty good deal.
Here's something I made in 5 minutes:
