Just a quick thought, but if someone links your forum name in a post then could you have the option to get a PM telling you you have been tagged or some other form of notification. This would make it easier to track brackets being posted for certain PvP or Competition events.
Example
In a bracket
Both UserA, UserB, MrPotatoFace, and Myself could all potentially receive a PM to tell them they have been tagged in a post. Or the forum topic could automatically appear in your SHOW NEW REPLIES area.
