Another con of it is the mistake of writing "Username is a force to reckon with" instead of "Username is a force to be reckoned with".

I like the old system more. You knew, what you got your karma for. And it fits to our game. And reputation ? No motivation to get this... and crazy formulas.

Old system was great.

Legendary/Hero member are on the verge to be accepted/have great potential?
League organizer has no influence?

its fun and all but most of the lines are just unfitting when you look at the member.
A little reputation makes you look totaly unimportant. <-- bad.
A ton of reputation just shows what otherwise would be clear: you are a very active and probably loved member <--good

A little karma makes you feel cool. <-- good.
A ton of karma just shows you are loved and or make usefull posts. <--good

Your rep power (and most other people's) is largely determined by post count. If you look, most people have a reputation that is a bit higher than their post count (20-50% more usually).

I don't really mind the new system. The reason that people with more rep have more power is to alleviate people who are new and just spam karma everywhere.

The one downside that I see is that somebody who works at being really helpful to newbies (and succeeds) can't really get the rep that they probably deserve.

Question:
Suppose I explain to a newby how to post a deck, for which they +rep me. They then go on to use this knowledge to post THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ANTI-FG DECK EVAR!!! and their reputation skyrockets as every member of the forum +reps them.  Do I get a tiny bit of rep because they were but a newby when they repped me, or does my rep increase as theirs does?

So, are the Karma logs still being slowly added?  Or did my Reputation Power simply not go up at all when the Karma was all taken into account?

I'm quite certain the karma logs haven't been added yet. I had 15 karma, at least some of which came from long-time members, so I don't see how it could give 9 rep after the formula.

I usually reward the people doing this by giving rep for helping others.

I'm not a fan of the system though, simply because I don't think the rep has any real value. At the same time, it doesn't bother me either so it's all cool ;)

And yet, some members (like Gl1tch for example) have 100+ Reputation Power, which implies that their Karma logs have been loaded.

Perhaps Glitch just started a ton of threads?

Like ... 1500 threads?  :))

My Karma certainly hasn't been added yet, that's for sure.

Everybody's reputation should be there. For those of you that have 0 reputation power at the moment, would you mind checking this for me?

I looked at the profiles of a few people, and they have their current Reputation listed on their profile somewhere (Do a Crtl+F for "Reputation"), which when divided by 100 and rounded, yields a number equal to their Reputation Power.
