You know, I really like this idea, but I'm not sure what to do in the meanwhile (unless SG decides to pop another child board somewhere on the CIA section). Would a band-aid fix of having Portfolios in the 'Series' Board do the trick?

Pretty much. Otherwise, I would have immediately whipped up a whole bunch of boards (possibly to SG's chargin ^^;; ) in the CIA section for better organization purposes as a Card Curator, but luckily not having that power made me realize how pristine the current format is with 4 main sections: Art, Design, 'Polls/Archives', and the Main Page.

How about this: I could include portfolio's into the Series subsection, and those threads would need to have the [*Name's* Portfolio] Tag on them so that people could take a look at your card ideas without cluttering the main section up (the main section is now only restricted to individual card ideas only now). This would be a temporary solution if SG decides that a Portfolio sub-board is unnecessary.

Deal or no deal? (I've always wanted to use that term XD)

Sure, let's do.  Definitely add info in the "posting rules" sticky about the guidelines for posting portfolios, too.

No problem! That said, I'm gonna lock this in the meanwhile - folks who are reading this, use the Series board (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,143.0.html) for your Portfolios, and if you feel that your Portfolio thread is in the wrong board, link or P.M. me the topic and I'll move it in that section as quickly as I can.

EDIT: er... okay, locking this topic was kind of unnecessary, so meh. ^^;
