I've noticed that since moving over from the old boards, the "star" rating system (being able to give a post a rating of 0 through 5 stars) has been removed.

For the most part this was just extraneous, but I think it could be really useful to have it available in the deck post section, so that people can look over decks by community rating.

It would be best to also have the number of votes cast in addition to the rating.

I think this would be very useful to people browsing over various decks so they can learn from others. Particularly if it could be used in a search / sort.

Now that you mention it, I remember that! It also helped with Card Ideas in my opinion. I would support this fully.

My memories of this system consisted of a great deal of moomoose's topics getting trolled by others.  Sure, let's give it back to the CIA section ::)

I really didn't see much use for it personally, but if other people found it important then I don't really have any objections aside from the possibility of trolling.

Is there a way to make it so you have to comment on a post before rating it? Or maybe needing to be a junior/senior member? This can lower the chance of trolling.

If this can be implemented, I doubt it would be hard to limit it to a post count requirement.

I would say yes to the comment and no to the trolling. The OP can then remove trolling comments if found justifiable I guess?
