Rate threads

I was thinking if there could be a thread rating function installed, that way we can tell how well the thread actually is, or if its another one of those ineedzmoarmonez threads. And making the rating invisible until a certain amount of people have voted to prevent people spamming 0 stars on every thread.

Good idea; we kinda already had something similar to this when the system that allowed us to rate posts was installed. If I recall correctly, Scaredgirl wanted us to only be able to vote on the first post in every thread to represent the entire thread as a whole.

I wouldn't mind the idea being brought back under some of your rules.

Like icybraker said, we already had something like this. Unfortunately it kinda sucked and I'm waiting for a better plugin to appear.

I want a rating system where:

1. You rate only the first post, not all individual posts
2. You can list top-rated posts

The previous system had neither of these so I got rid of it.

Hopefully something better pops up soon.

Can we get a update on this feature as to where SG is at on finding a better plugin. This will help seperate the good useful topics from the bad for each forums which someone can compile these topics to link it on their section.
