I feel like the introduce yourself in the newbie area is where everyone spams posts like 'hi' or 'welcome to the forums'. I know that some people actually post there to help new players, but the majority of the posts I see there look like spam. I'm not angry at anyone (because I sometimes say 'welcome to the forums' in every thread to get more posts), but I want to see what others think about spam in the newbie area or anywhere else they see it.

i posted a topic a while ago because i feel that posts here should not count towards your post count, but the majority of people were against me.
