ok, so i got this idea from gaiaonline's forum. they have this place called testing forum. basically, its just a place for people to test out coding, signatures, etc before they actually start using it in the legitimate forum. maybe we can have a slightly altered version of this.

as you all know, not everyone are coding wizes, so we (meaning i am no where near a wiz) kind of fall short in terms of good looking topics that are appealing to everyone. so i suggest we set up a kind of learners forum where people can post a "pre-topic" (a topic that doesnt quite count until it gets moved into the actual forum) and people who are really good with coding and such can help them build it by replying to there pre-topic with tips and coding assistance. of course it will be recommended that the pre-topic poster reward his/her helpers with rep.

p.s. i would suggest that post count not be counted in the learner's forum.

I think that the "Preview" button already functions a bit like this but I can see having a test forum be useful in some occasions.

Do you have any ideas on where to put this forum?

i would probably go with noobie area or in elements the game. its entirely up to you where to put it or whether or not to even create it. nobbie area would probably be the best place imo though.

but this doesnt solve the aesthetic principals of topic posting. like what looks GOOD. it can have all the impressive coding it can possibly fit, but it might not look good. i am terrible at this part

I'm not sure how this "experimental forum" would test this better than clicking preview before posting a beautiful thread-to-be.
If you don't know what's beautiful, how would testing in this "experimental forum" be better than testing using preview?
In addition, if you don't know what looks good, quote a thread that you know everyone thinks looks good and use the same coding.
