Introduction Section

Where new people to the forum can introduce themselves! Like me! It makes them feel more welcome and will most definately get more people active on the forum.

Yes, this has been suggested before. The problem has been that I haven't figured out where to put this section. Front page is already looking cluttered and I don't think we should just keep adding stuff.

One option would be to have a sticky topic in General Discussion where people could say hi.

Doesn't really need a "template" as such. Just copy-paste Kamietsu's post with a little editing into the FP of the thread. Templates are intimidating.

This function would definitely encourage more newbies to contribute. I remember seeing this forum section on another forums I used to visit. It helps a lot.

Yeah I saw this on other forums I used to be on also. You know, just introduce yourself, share your favorite element, talk a little about yourself or srategy... I really believe this is a great idea. Very helpful
