Looking round, I see there's only 10 inbox spaces, which means we can't save many messages. Can we get more space please.

There are plenty more spaces than 10. They're just paginated.

What? I have 10 in total. I had 2 messages, and it said the inbox was 20% full...

This might be another one of those things determined by forum rank (i.e. total number of posts you've made).

I suspect that as your post count and forum rank increase (at 30, 200, 500, 1000, and 2000 post milestones), your PM inbox capacity increases as well.
