It's a far stretch, and in my honest opinion unnecessary.
They are quite in their right homes in Design Theory. The threads have the potential for growth, however Design Theory is for just that, talking about the theory behind design and adding to it. These threads help the board perfectly for that.
I wouldn't say that a unifying theme and title warrants a Child Board.
