The searching was disabled for some forumfix or something, and SG is working on reenabling them (last I heard, anyway).  If you want to search, click the drop-down box next to search and select google.  You can't select just one board for it to be in easily, but you can still search for strings and stuff.

I can't find a "contact us" area in help.... For a week now, I can't search in this forum by typing in the search box. It says "An Error Has Occurred!
You are not allowed to search for posts in this forum."  wth!

I am getting the same error, but you can work around it by selecting "Google" from the drop down menu.  It uses google search but only returns results from elements stuff.
