Currently getting ability for avatars at higher post counts already incites enough spamming, we don't need more of that.
Inciting people to take the mentor program might also not be a good idea, you only want motivated people for that, and some people (like me) usually learn better on their own than with the help of someone completely random.
Idea number 5 is also prone to destructive criticism (honest feedback, but the deck probably kind of ****s 
).
Yay for pessimism, but I felt the need to say this 
I think you may be a little confused. Those weren't actually real quests people would do. They were examples of possible ways to go about doing this Forum Quest thing. I see the simplicity in most of the quests... I wrote them in five min or less. As I say earlier in this thread, There is always an open door for new quest ideas, but thanks for the feedback anyways torb
Hmm, I understood it as done quest => reward, if the reward is significant enough people will do the quest for the sole purpose of the reward, even though they think the quest itself is kind of meh (the mentor system).
That was one of the things I was trying to say. Which is easily fixed by not having any reward though.
So then just not have that quest... right?
