Idea for a new forum title:

Historian
In charge of overseeing and ensuring that Archives are kept up to date and accurate[/li]Is the person to go to ask questions of past Wars, Leagues, Tournaments[/li]Relieves Global Moderators of some menial tasks[/li]Not needed, but assets include: knowing who Evil Hamster is, having been a member of flashkit forums or at least has read all (as of now) 96 pages, etc.[/li]
Discuss.

Makes sense. Add a poll ^
So, tell me my friend, what can you see? What comes into your mind as you breathe?

What does this mean? Currently archives are just a place where we move old topics. There's really no need to manage them.

Other tasks you have listed there, make this job sound like "the guy you PM when you have an Elements history question". I'm not all that convinced that we need a specific title for that.

One option for this job would be to manage this topic (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1167.0.html). It's an old topic by Dragoon that I started redoing from scratch, but which still needs a LOT of work. The reason why it should be awesome is that the Elements game page has a direct link to that topic.

Not sure if it fits with the whole "Historian" theme though..

But I do like the name Historian, and I do think that having someone in charge of the history of Elements would be pretty cool.

I like the idea, but I have one suggestion for the job.

Maybe this person can also go back through all of the updates and put all of the card changes in one place, whether its different art or cost/ability changes and how these changes effected the game.

For example: I could look at this thread, made by historian, and find out that sundial used to last 2 turns, see oty and leaf dragons old art, find out when stuff like rares and the oracle were introduced, etc.

And also find out that some decks are obsolete before investing a crapload of electrum on, say, a firelance sundial stall from 1.14 (?)

The idea of a timeline for card nerfs/buffs sounds great to me. It could probably be useful for Zanzarino itself... to have an overview of how his game has evolved all this time.
