the name says it all. forming guilds for the forum (of course, this will be after the elemenal war is over) the guild will have ranks such as: king, queen, jack, 10, 9, etc... (or whatever you want) a guild can be built by a hero or higher member (or lower if mods wish it) each member can only be in one guild or build only one guild. of course, all of this is subject to debate and change. but i will not sit quietly if it is rejected. i will fight hard to get this idea accepted (and no, im not going to break any rules).

Upside
-gives some people that hang out together (in chat or otherwise that is) something more constructive to do.

Downside
-No reason for a guild to exist except to exist.
-splinters an already functioning community
-guilds 'sorta' exist if you think of WAR in that fashion
-there's a good chance guilds for WoE will be a viable option, but only in that context, not the forum's.

I guess unless there's a good reason to have guilds, I see no point having them.

I don't see any reason why this feature would be implemented at the moment. "Guilds" don't have any application to the game on its own, and there aren't the big/regular team events to warrant adding anything to the forum which can't be accomplished by simply adding something to your personal text, signature, or avatar.
