I'm sure that lots of us have seen tons of necro-posts by different members (mostly newcomers). This situation is apparently becoming a trend - see all those buried threads being revived?

Can the forces of the undead be stopped?

We should start to tackle the problem when it is still not uncontrollable. But... how?
PVE shouldn't be all about copying a deck code and converting time into electrum, score, and potentially rares.

1. Necroing isn't a problem if it provides discussion.
2. Nothing's uncontrollable.
3. Use the report function.
4. Profit.

Yes, it is jarring. Yes, it's hard to stop this. Mainly because, as long as a discussion is relevant to a deck, there is no "bad necro".
But as you see, those necroes are often spam, so maybe we should fight them with spam guidelines.

Off-topic: why the heck would you post a deck in a forum feedback section.

Good necros are the minority... most of them are just comments with similar depth like "this is a good deck i fight ai3 and win 8 out of 10 times".
However, necromancers (as I call them) are mostly newbs who don't know the rules... reporting those innocent people might scare them away, or worse, scare potential productive newcomers away. Quoting a Chinese saying, "The innocent is not guilty" (as I translated it), I can't really bring myself close to reporting them, but not stopping them is like rolling a snowball.

The deck is to show the power of the undead... the idea is not new and I'm not being creative here, but seeing that I do not have an online image account to store necromancer pictures, I used that instead.

Erm, reporting can't scare anyone off since they won't even know. We handle reports like humans, not robots. Necroing is a very minor thing on this forum. Low-content posting is another thing, but it doesn't lead to us scaring them off. I just talk to them about it, and the vast majority understand.

I generally remove any blatant spamming that appears on an old thread unless it so happens that the user is posting a lot of spam posts for the sake of a tourney or something.  At that point that person needs to receive a warning which I don't have the power to hand out to them.

Really, just report the person at fault if you think they're causing a problem; it handles the problem just fine.

see-ing this, i guess, dropping by and mention or even congratulate can be considered as necro. ( if the deck hasn't been in the light for some months). Well, as i'm issued a warning, i cannot be an irresponsible person to just ignore it and acts as if i've done nothing. Apology, however, i must let all people know that i'm going into my clinical years and no more free time to even be in forum activities, i take this chance to browse the entire forum, i would say 50% i've read. Plus, today, i was given a free afternoon, discovered some missed decks, good enough yet i don't get it when no one seems to care, so i just drop by a leave a comment. Alright, if that's considered as bad necro.

With all respect, i didn't post anything just for the sake of posting. I've a habit of checking back whatever i've posted in through the icon 'profile' and look back at the history. Anyhow, for any discussion regarding decks, i saved all the deck codes in a notepad. I don't see the need of spamming as i've more than 30 post already, so the idea of spamming is irrelevant.

Question: Do necro brings the deck posted into public eyes except for the one who posted?  This is kinda weird. If that's the case, i think sending a private message will become the priority.
I supposed the ans in yes. Well, in that case, i would personally ask that anyone who posted something and the post has only tragically read a few times and less than a minimum of 5 comments be given the right to remove the post. I've posted some decks too and some were actually a repeat after my observations today and there are lots that are the same in fact. I wanna stressed that i never posted in those kind of deck ideas.

nothing. :) I usually take notice of the decks that i post in. Find this deck survive surprisingly well in arena though, that's why i posted.
I don't have anything against the decks that i ignored.

As you can see in the rules, necroing is not an offense. Low-content posting is.
