Thread necromancy happened again and because a system hasn't been developed to help discourage that, (except the warning) it will probably continue. A system needs to be implemented  in each section of the forum, or the forum as a whole. I think any thread that goes inactive for 30 - 59 days should get a warning. Any thread that has gone inactive for 60 or more days should be Auto-Locked. This is just my opinion, but I know a lot of folks do not like thread necromancy.

Just keep reporting offending posts and don't reply to the thread. The person responsible will be dealt with appropriately and if the post is not worth bumping the thread for, it may get deleted.

Remember, reporting posts makes the moderation staff's job a lot easier, so please do it wherever you feel like a post needs moderator attention.

There are exceptions to this though.
The cards section has a thread for all cards, which are not always posted in very often. Just because nobody posts in a cards section for 60 days does not mean nobody will.
These need to stay unlocked regardless of legnth of inactivity.

i agree with this
Zombie0 gives 110 percent whenever he's in the arena. He's a team player who delivers both offensively and defensively. He has no idea what a Quantum is.

my question is why is thread necromancy bad? its not hurting anyone. but for those who dont know that a topic was made before certain updates, there can be a red bar thing that tells when it was made and that it may not pertain to modern Elements
my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "its better than yours" damn right, its better than yours! i can teach you but i'd have to charge!

Very rarely are threads bumped with actual content. What this means is that bumped threads overshadow actual relevant discussion and generally get in the way.
