Feedback on the chat

I dunno if I'm the only one with this problem, but the 'New Forum Posts' is always covering the first part of the chat box, minor issue but rather annoying when I'm trying to see what I've written or select something.

Also, I know we have chat mods, but they aren't around and sometimes.  A vote to kick feature, or an ignore feature, or some kind of flood control would be nice.

I'm not sure what plastiqe uses but I usually run chat from Safari and it overlaps a little bit.

I used the ultimate method of removing the problem. Literally.

I've never had that problem with either IE or FF. Perhaps Chrome/Opera/Sarfari have different ways to read the code and/or load the page, and that causes the overlap.

Another thing I've mentioned before, if you click on someone's profile, there's no way to close it.  It's just an annoying thing, I'm sure you've got more important things to do, but if you get around to it, a close button would be nice.

You mean to PM them? Yes there is. It's a little double arrow symbol just above the text box on that little window that pops up.

I agree, that would make it easier for people to understand. Having two little arrows doesn't exactly scream "I close this mini-window"
