I see nothing wrong with giving repeat offenders a warning to remind them. Forcing people to read the rules by moving the subsection hyperlink to inside a sticky or any similar method may sound appealing in concept, but there will always be people that literally ignore everything on the page and skip straight to the link. There's also the rule-abiding posters that do not notice subtle changes in the rules because their eyes just glaze over them after seeing them for so long. We all know that you and I may have read the End User License Agreement once or twice, but nowadays we just skip to "I Agree" because we hope a combination of memory power and common sense will pull us through. It's the same thing with the fender benders happening in this forum.
As always, using the Report To Moderator function will get something to the mods' collective attentions a lot faster. I know as far as I'm concerned that the Reports are the first thing I check every time I log on, and I can't read every single thread on the forum.
On this note, I would really like a set of guidelines posted somewhere detailing what kinds of posts should be reported. Decks posted under Rainbows when they belong under Quartets, decks that belong in Deck Help, jesting decks that should be moved to Humor, out-of-place introductions, unproductive posts that are a single meme image, posts that have zero relevance to the topic, necros, overheated arguments, advertising, posts that do not follow stickied guidelines (as discussed in this thread), etc. It might just be me but frequenting multiple forums have really blurred this border for me, since each community has a different set of standards and rules.
